When the White House hosts a UFC event on its lawn this Sunday, the spectators will be specifically curated by the Trump administration.
Although many service members will be in attendance, the administration is requiring those military personnel to meet certain height and weight requirements. The event is being considered "high visibility," so there is a premium on having the most physically fit service members as spectators.
This UFC event will commemorate both the 250th Independence Day later this Summer and President Donald Trump's 80th birthday on Sunday. The card will feature seven different fights with fighters like Alex Pereira, Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje all taking part.
Here's a breakdown of the height and weight requirements for the troops attending UFC Freedom 250.

UFC White House height and weight requirement
Service members set to attend the UFC event at the White House on Sunday must meet a waist-to-height ratio of 0.55 or less. That ratio is part of a new ratio implemented into the military in January to measure each military member's body fat instead of using more traditional height and weight requirements.
Additionally, those military members who are attending need to meet a general physical fitness standard, but they will have to pay their own way to the event.

In a crowd that will be around 4,000 spectators, around 1,200 of them are expected to be service members invited by the Trump administration.
"Tickets must be distributed to genuine UFC fans, not solely by high-ranking [distinguished visitors]," a Defense Department memo said, via NBC News.
The memo also details the dress code for military service members attending.
"Short sleeve uniform with appropriate military regalia and headgear," it said. "The event is standing room only, outdoors and uncovered."
