The Washington Commanders are an interesting team to watch in 2026, mainly because we have no idea how good or bad they'll be with Jayden Daniels.

We have one good year of Jayden, and one bad one, so what will we get in 2026?

That is the million-dollar question, and the Commanders haven't exactly done Daniels any favors in getting him more help.

So, what could Washington's record be? NFL.com's Ali Bhanpuri has it at 7-10.

"Are the 2026 Commanders closer to their breakout 12-5 campaign from two years ago, or the 5-12 collapse from last season? I figure somewhere in the middle."

Prediction nightmare fuel

For the Commanders to go 7-10 and miss the playoffs, that isn't good for the team or the fans.

They thought they had something special with Daniels, but to then miss the playoffs in back-to-back years, and if the Commanders only win seven games, I'd imagine Jayden won't play too well either.

A C.J. Stroud drop-off isn't great.

Of course, this is a prediction, and Washington could surprise and go 10-7 and make the playoffs, which I think could happen, but a lot would need to go right.

But a 7-10 season? That would leave the Commanders in no man's land, and that's not a good spot to be.
