UNC basketball lands former NC State guard

Tuesday is shaping up to be a big day for the North Carolina Tar Heels' basketball program. Earlier in the morning, the team landed a commitment from former Utah guard Terrence Brown Jr. That added a key piece to the back court for Michael Malone's roster.
A few hours later, the Tar Heels had another addition to the back court.

Former NC State guard Matt Able pledged his commitment to the Tar Heels after entering the transfer portal a few weeks back. Able was trending towards UNC for a few days now as they landed a prediction for him on Tuesday.
Shortly after that, he committed.

Able is ranked No. 44 overall in the transfer portal per 247Sports and is a big get for the Tar Heels who lost some guards from this past season.
Last season, Able averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 41.6 percent from the field for the Wolfpack. That included 35.5 percent from the three-point line.
