Juventus step up efforts to lure Barcelona veteran superstar in the summer

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t SPORT), Juventus have made a strong move to try to secure the signing of Robert Lewandowski from FC Barcelona after 30 June.
The Turin club are attempting to convince the striker not to renew his contract with the Blaugrana on reduced terms and instead become part of their short- and medium-term project. They are making significant efforts to persuade him.

Juventus want Lewandowski
As part of the efforts, a Juventus emissary travelled to Poland during the international break to make contact with Lewandowski and reinforce the club’s interest in bringing him to Italian football.
Indeed, the Bianconeri’s chief executive Damien Comolli sent a member of the sporting department, who was present in the stands during the match between Poland and Albania, which ended in a Polish victory with a goal from Lewandowski.
The Serie A giants aim to demonstrate maximum interest in the striker and clarify his situation in order to begin planning for next season. They want to determine whether there is a realistic chance of signing him, as otherwise they will pursue alternative options.

As for Lewandowski, he has already stated that he will not make any decision until the end of the season, as he awaits a renewal offer from Barcelona.
Club president Joan Laporta has made it clear that they will propose his continuation, although it is expected to be a short-term deal with a significant salary reduction.
Lewandowski has always prioritised staying, but he will assess other options depending on the sporting project and financial offers, which could be considerably higher than those of Barcelona.
On one hand, there is the possibility of continuing to compete at the highest level with clubs such as Juventus or AC Milan.
On the other, he could begin a new chapter in Major League Soccer, where Chicago Fire and Orlando City could make strong offers. He has also received lucrative proposals from Turkey, while a move to Saudi Arabia appears to be ruled out for family reasons.
