The reliever was then reassigned to minor league camp during spring training and later placed on the 60-day IL by Syracuse on March 18.

Stock had signed a minor league deal with New York in November 2025 and last pitched in the majors with the Boston Red Sox during the 2025 season.

The right-hander owned a 10.13 ERA over 2.2 innings across two appearances. He also pitched in 19 games with the Worchester Red Sox in 2025, going 5-4 over 15 starts with a 3.92 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 85.0 IP.

Prior to the 2025 season, Stock hadn't pitched in the big leagues since 2021 when he started two games for the Mets (0-1, 5.40 ERA). In between his brief Mets tenure and next major league appearance, Stock played in the KBO League with the Doosan Bears (2022), the Milwaukee Brewers' Triple-A affiliate (2023), the Long Island Ducks (2023), and the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos of the Mexican League (2024).

Overall, Stock owns a career 4.90 ERA with 77 strikeouts in 75.1 IP over 57 games in the majors.
