Nebraska quarterback commit Trae Taylor signs with Adidas

Adidas announced its 2026 Adizero class on Friday. The company revealed it signed seven high school athletes to the class, including Nebraska quarterback commit Trae Taylor of the class of 2027.
The class comprises some of the top recruits in the nation, with almost all holding a five-star rating. Taylor recently earned his fifth star in his recruiting, becoming the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 8 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class according to 247Sports.

Now, Taylor joins a long line of featured athletes from Adidas. Prominent names include Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons and New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Taylor is entering his first season at Millard South after playing at Carmel Catholic in Illinois. In his junior campaign, Taylor completed 81.7 percent of his passes for 3,571 yards and 38 touchdowns against just three interceptions. He committed to Nebraska in May 2025.
