Lachlan Turner scores second overall win in two WMX rounds

LAKEWOOD, Colorado: Lachlan Turner survived a Lap 2 crash in Moto 2 at Thunder Valley Motocross Park to sweep the motos for her second overall victory in two Women's Pro Motocross powered by Synchrony rounds.

Tuner made short work of the field on Friday, but she was pressured by Charli Cannon in the second moto and within three seconds.

Cannon crashed heavily in Moto 1 and was sore when she lined up on Saturday. Still, she finished second in both motos and took third overall.

Taylah McCutcheon earned her first moto podium on Friday and backed it up with a fourth on Saturday to score her first overall podium in two rounds of competition despite battling illness.

Mikayla Nielsen suffered a fuel pump failure on Friday while running second. She fell to back of the lead lap in that race and had a bad gate pick on Saturday. She rode through the field and passed McCullough for third on the final lap.

Jordan Jarvis rounded out the top five in Moto 2.
