Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has boldly claimed that he will get a tattoo of head coach Luis de la Fuente’s face if Spain win the World Cup.

Spain head into the 2026 tournament as one of the favourites, following their European Championship triumph in 2024. La Roja begin their campaign against Cape Verde on Monday, before meeting Saudi Arabia and Uruguay in the group stage.
Spain are aiming to become only the second European team to win a World Cup outside of the continent, after Germany’s success in Brazil in 2014.
Cucurella has claimed he will get a permanent tattooed tribute to head coach De La Fuente if Spain are successful.
“If we win the World Cup, I would get a tattoo of Luis de la Fuente’s face!”, the left-back told Cope.
