After falling out with former Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim, Rashford went to Barcelona on loan in the 2025-26 campaign, and he had one of the best years of his soccer career, registering eight goals and seven assists to help the Blaugrana win their second consecutive La Liga crown and Spanish Super Cup.
If Rashford fails to secure a move out of Manchester United this summer, the Englishman will find it hard to replicate his 2025-26 output, as he’ll compete with Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu in the Red Devils’ depth chart, putting him back in the same situation where he was last year.
