Shortly into the third quarter of Friday night's Game 3, Mitchell headed back to the bench after a brief scuffle with Devin Vassell. Just before that, he was seen landing a bit awkwardly after a hard foul on Stephon Castle.

Late in Game 2, Mitchell went down with a right leg injury, where he was seen grabbing his quad. It remains to be seen if Mitchell reaggravated that same injury or if this is something new.

Roughly four minutes into the third quarter, Mitchell appeared to land awkwardly after fouling Castle on a breakaway layup. After a brief altercation, he returned to the Thunder’s bench while officials reviewed the incident.
A short time later, the broadcast noted that Mitchell had gone to the locker room.
It remains unclear whether the guard will return to tonight’s game or the severity of his injury.
