Before transferring to Salesianum for his junior year, Taylor spent his sophomore year at Tower Hill, where he played on both sides of the ball. He recorded 53 catches for 742 yards and 9 TD in 9 games while adding 45 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles on defense, according to his profile on 247sports.
Taylor is a multi-sport athlete at his high school. In addition to playing football, he also runs track. He set his school’s record in the high jump this past winter by recording a 6-foot, 7-inch jump while also becoming the Delaware state champion in the same event, per 247sports.
A lot of power conference schools were looking to win Taylor’s favor, as he held offers from Boston College, Duke, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, NC State, Syracuse, Wake Forest, and others before committing. He is listed as a top 80 wide receiver in the 2027 class according to On3/Rivals.
Taylor will be back on campus later this month as he is slated to take an official visit on May 29th.
