Indian Bank organizes mega RAM disbursement & outreach camp in Mumbai

Indian Bank on Friday organised a Mega RAM Disbursement & Outreach Camp across the span of FGMO Mumbai, covering the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. The campaign was conducted in the august presence of Binod Kumar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Indian Bank. The programme was organised in a hybrid mode, with participation from customers and officials both physically and virtually across the FGMO Mumbai span.

The initiative forms part of the Bank’s strategic vision to strengthen its presence in RAM segments while promoting customer-centric banking and inclusive growth aimed at supporting the economic development of the nation.

During the campaign, sanctions aggregating to ₹1,048 Crore were distributed to customers under various RAM segments. Out of the total sanctions, the MSME segment accounted for a major share of ₹634 Crore, reaffirming the Bank’s continued thrust on empowering entrepreneurs and supporting the growth of the MSME ecosystem. Sanctions were also extended under Retail and Agriculture segments to meet the diverse financial needs of customers.

Addressing the gathering, the MD & CEO highlighted the Bank’s unwavering commitment towards customer service excellence and elaborated on various transformative initiatives being undertaken by the Bank in the RAM sector. He emphasised the importance of timely and adequate credit support to the Retail, Agriculture and MSME sectors, which continue to play a pivotal role in employment generation and economic development across the country.

The MD & CEO also interacted extensively with customers present at the venue as well as participants connected virtually from various Zones. He appreciated their continued trust and association with the Bank and lauded the efforts of field functionaries and branches in taking banking services closer to customers through proactive outreach initiatives.

The programme also witnessed meaningful interactions with customers, during which valuable suggestions and feedback were received for further enhancing customer service standards and strengthening relationship banking.

The successful conduct of the Mega RAM Disbursement & Outreach Camp has set a strong and encouraging tone for the financial year 2026–27 under the visionary leadership of the MD & CEO of the Bank.
