Game 2 turned into a defensive grind, with both teams leaving eight runners on base. After three scoreless innings, the Sooners broke through with a few singles and a sac bunt to take a 3–0 lead into the fourth. A&M answered in explosive fashion in the fifth.

Frankie Vrazel singled with one out, followed by a two‑run homer from leadoff hitter Kennedy Powell and a solo shot from Tallen Edwards to tie the game at 3–3. Oklahoma reclaimed the lead in the sixth on a two‑out triple, and despite multiple chances in the final two innings, the Aggies left four runners aboard and fell 4–3.

In the series finale, Oklahoma jumped ahead 4–0 in the first inning, capitalizing on early miscues before both teams settled into a defensive stalemate. The Sooners added insurance on a fifth‑inning fielding error and a sixth‑inning solo homer to extend the lead to 6–0. A&M refused to go quietly, loading up for a final‑inning push.

After a walk and a single, Kelsey Mathis delivered an RBI knock to right, and Paislie Allen followed with a three‑run blast to pull the Aggies within 6–4. OU head coach Patty Gasso turned to her closer, who secured the final two outs to seal the doubleheader sweep.

Texas A&M will enter the SEC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the winner of Missouri vs. Auburn in the second round on May 6 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky.
