After another fun week of the high school softball season, it's time to look back on the best performances.

Tara Anderson, Wallkill Valley

The junior first baseman drove in five runs during a pair of wins for the Rangers. Anderson went 6-for-10 at the plate with six runs scored, five RBIs and four stolen bases. Anderson had a triple, three stolen bases and drove in five runs in a 23-0 win over Dover on April 20.

Hayley Arigo, Randolph

The senior infielder had six hits in a pair of wins during the week. Arigo went 6-for-11 with 11 RBIs and three runs scored in victories over West Morris and Vernon. Arigo struck two home runs during a 7 RBI day in a 9-1 win over Vernon on April 22.

Julia Beers, Whippany Park

The sophomore infielder homered and scored four runs as the Wildcats earned wins over Butler and Pequannock. Beers homered and scored three times in a 12-2 win over Pequannock on April 20.

Jordan Hicinbothem, Boonton

The sophomore catcher went 3-3 with two home runs in a 10-7 win over St. Elizabeth on April 20. Hicinbothem scored four runs, drove in three RBIs and stole a base in the victory.

Daphne Mathews, High Point

The senior first baseman went 7-for-10 at the plate with five RBIs, five runs scored and four stolen bases to help the Wildcats to wins over Newton and Wallkill Valley. Mathews had three hits, three runs scored and three stolen bases in a 13-1 win over Wallkill Valley on April 22.

Sophia Matullo, Roxbury

The sophomore pitcher allowed three earned runs across five innings while also producing offensively in wins over North Hunterdon and St. Elizabeth. Matullo was 8-for-10 with a bat in her hand, scoring six runs, knocking three home runs and two triples to drive in five runs.

Leighton Mediterraneo, Jefferson

The freshman pitcher struck out five across five scoreless innings in a 13-0 win over Lenape Valley on April 20, lowering her season ERA to 0.88. At the plate, Mediaterraneo went 3-for-10 with five RBIs, including four in the win over Lenape Valley.

Sarina Pangallo, Hackettstown

The senior outfielder went 6-for-10 at the plate, including four RBIs in a 10-0 win over Hopatcong on April 20. Pangallo finished a single shy of the cycle in that victory with her first home run of the season. Pangallo also stole two bases in a loss to Jefferson on April 24.

Giovanna Pignataro, Hanover Park

The sophomore pitcher went 2-0 in the circle, striking out 11 across 14 innings in victories over Madison and St. Mary's (Rutherford). Pignataro went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, the only run scored in a 1-0 win over Madison on April 20.

Leah Scalzo, Morris Hills

The senior pitcher struck out 16 and allowed four earned runs across 18.1 innings, including five shutout innings in a win over Pope John. Scalzo went 7-for-12 batting with two runs scored and four RBIs, driving in a pair of runs in a 5-4 loss to Morris Catholic on April 23.

Emily Wooleon, Montville

The freshman pitcher tossed six shutout innings, striking out seven to improve to 8-0 in the circle with a 12-1 win over Parsippany Hills on April 21. Wooleon went 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs in the victory.
