The Ohio State football Spring Game is in the books, and for all intents and purposes, it was kind of what we expected. You never get any concrete answers in the spring, and we've learned so many times about taking too much out of it, but still, it was a great event and an opportunity to see some of the 51 new players on the roster this year.

Head coach Ryan Day met with the media after the glorified scrimmage to discuss the state of the team after spring ball and what he saw in periods of driving rain on Saturday. If you missed any of what he said, we've got his short remarks here, along with a couple of the players, thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel.

Day touched on the progress of backup quarterback Tavien St. Clair, the play of the defense, what he took from the game, and more.

Ohio State will now go into a bit of a dead period, at least in terms of official team activities, with the majority of the coaching staff being involved, but that doesn't mean there still aren't things like training and other work going on behind the scenes. We'll be here to bring you any additional news that becomes available during this offseason as we look forward to fall camp in August.
