Friday’s should be for fullbacks and fullbacks make the triple option work. Here is your Black C 31 Trap Option play for today’s Notre Dame football news.

MOCK DRAFTS ARE OUT OF CONTROL

The closer and closer we get to the first round of the NFL Draft, the more diabolical the conversation that surrounds the draft becomes. For a player like Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, things are all over the map. Despite a great deal of focus on Love’s potential landing spot has become Tennessee, that’s not stopping mock drafts and the conversations around them turning into an exercise of “how dumb can we make this look?”.

BRING IT IN AND MAKE IT TIGHT

With so much of the Notre Dame focus concerning the NFL Draft being on Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, we kind of lose sight of the potential of 6 or 7 Fighting Irish players being drafted. One of those potential players is tight end, Eli Raridon. Here’s a nice spotlight on him.

A RANKED WIN IS A RANKED WIN

The Irish enjoy a sinister reputation from opposing fans about their schedule every year, and yet… since 2014 Notre Dame has the 6th most amount of ranked wins. (Alabama’s total is absurd by the way). It’s kind of hard to have BOTH the weakest college football schedule in the country year in and year out while racking up a good amount of ranked wins. Yes — that was sarcasm.
