Mumbai: The recent surge in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices, which crossed the unprecedented `2 lakh/kL mark this month, has sent shockwaves through the industry.

IndiGo prices have climbed 44% to `7,490, while SpiceJet saw a significant 80% jump to `9,000. Between Mumbai and Bengaluru, Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet prices have risen to `5,772, `5,515 and `5,706, respectively.
