While the Brewers are more than capable of bouncing back and taking the top spot in the division, there are a few issues the team is dealing with, especially on offense, with Jackson Chourio on the injured list.
Unfortunately, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, the Brewers are going to place Christian Yelich on the injured list, joining Chourio on the IL, as two of the top Brewers bats are now out.
Brewers to place Christian Yelich on injured list
"Update to the Christian Yelich injury suffered Sunday against the Nationals: It's a left groin strain, and he has been placed on the 10-day injured list," McCalvy reports. "The Brewers called up infielder/outfielder Greg Jones to take Yelich's place and Rob Z. to the 60-day IL."
This is some tough news for the Brewers, as they're now losing one of their best players for some time due to a groin injury early in the season.
Yelich, the MVP and three-time All-Star, was off to a strong start this season. Through 15 games and 51 at-bats, Yelich had 16 hits, 10 runs scored, two doubles, one triple, one homer, 10 RBIs, three stolen bases, five walks, a .314 batting average, and an .826 OPS.

Now, with Yelich hitting the injured list, lefty reliever Rob Zastryzny will go on the 60-day injured list to be out for a while longer, and Greg Jones gets the big league call-up.
Other than Yelich and Chourio, Andrew Vaughn is also on the injured list, leaving the offense in the hands of Sal Frelick, Brice Turang, Garrett Mitchell, Gary Sanchez, Williams Contreras, and Jake Bauers, among others.
The 34-year-old outfielder/designated hitter is going to miss some time with this groin strain. In a tightly contested NL Central, the Brewers will have the tall task of staying afloat without two of their best hitters for some time this season.
