Although the Celtics lost, it was a psychological win for Tatum, who got through the game without an injury.
The former Blue Devil finished with 24 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one block.
Following the game, Tatum spoke about his recovery, sharing his message with the world.
"I've been candid about it from the beginning that, hopefully, my experience and the way I approach and attack this has inspired somebody out there that is not necessarily going through an injury but maybe a tough time, he said. "And hopefully, they can witness or see what I've tried to accomplish and appreciate and be inspired by that.”
With Tatum back into the fold, he and the Celtics can turn their focus toward another championship title after defeating the Dallas Mavericks during the 2023-24 season.
That said, they still have two regular season games remaining, with one win needed to secure the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
