Titans will host athletic NC State TE Justin Joly on a Top 30 visit

As the Tennessee Titans reportedly host edge David Bailey and wide receiver Omar Cooper on Wednesday on top-30 visits, the names of more draft prospects heading into Nashville begin to come into focus.

Arye Pulli is the latest to drop a name, reporting on X (formerly Twitter) that the Titans are bringing in undersized but athletic North Carolina State tight end Justin Joly for a Top 30 visit. This marks the second known move tight end the Titans will be hosting, joining Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers, who will be visiting the staff at the facility.

Joly may be undersized as a tight end, but he is an established receiving threat who can create mismatches against man coverage. While he does need to refine his route tree, his athleticism and traits give him a chance to become a difference maker in the NFL.

A bit small at 6-foot-3, 249 pounds to be a traditional in-line tight end, he is more of an effort blocker and must improve to be a true dual-threat. If anything, his size is similar to Stowers' (6-foot-4, 239 pounds), who some scouts view more as a wideout, and is likely more suited to be a movable piece for an offense.

The Titans have invested in the tight end room by signing Daniel Bellinger and Kylen Granson to join Gunnar Helm, Joel Wilson, and David Martin-Robinson on the roster, but could look to add another dynamic receiving threat at the position after saying goodbye to Chig Okonkwo, and Joly could fill that role.
