Forward Bilal El Khannouss will stay at VfB Stuttgart beyond the season because criteria to make a loan deal permanent have been met, sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has said.

"All conditions have been met. We are happy to have permanently tied Bilal to VfB," Wohlgemuth told Wednesday's edition of the Sport Bild weekly.
Moroccan international El Khannouss originally arrived on loan in summer from relegated Premier League club Leicester City. Sport Bild said the permanent contract is until 2030 and that the transfer fee is €15 million ($17.4 million).
El Khannouss, 21, has eight goals and four assists in 33 matches across all competitions for Stuttgart.
