2026 Colts fantasy preview: Biggest bargain, bust, and wild card

If the season started today, one Colts player would be their biggest fantasy bargain, another a likely bust, and a third a likely wild card.

While it’s hard to call Tyler Warren a bargain (given the market’s likelihood of placing him in the top five), he almost assuredly will be undervalued. In 12 full games with Daniel Jones under center, the rookie TE netted an impressive 13.1 points per contest.  In his other five games, it plummeted to 6.3. A full season of Jones -- plus Michael Pittman Jr.’s departure -- creates a golden opportunity for Warren to claim TE1 honors.

On the other hand, Jonathan Taylor’s incredible 2025 run probably will grind to a halt this season. This has nothing to do with his greatness and everything to do with his 369 touches and 20 touchdowns last season. The “369” number is a clear yellow flag based on historical data, and the 20 scores over-weighted his fantasy impact. He’d need to thread the needle to come close to meeting lofty expectations this year.

There are a lot of wild cards on this team. Daniel Jones is the most prominent. Before suffering a season-ending injury, Jones was a weekly fantasy starter. He can reach that level again if things break right. However, his sizable rushing decline isn’t about to reverse course, making him more dependent than ever through the air.
