Bayern Munich are continuing their search for depth on the left wing. With Luis Díaz firmly established as the first-choice option, the club are now exploring the market for a reliable backup who can provide support across the long season.

At this stage, however, the solution has not yet been identified. Per a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Heiko Niedderer (as captured by @iMiaSanMia_GER), Several names have been linked with the role, but none currently appear to be at the top of Bayern’s shortlist. Players such as Kevin Schade, Said El Mala, and Yan Diomande have all been mentioned in connection with the position, yet none of them are considered the leading candidate for the job.

That leaves Bayern’s plans somewhat open for now. The club’s recruitment team continues to assess different profiles as they look for the right fit: someone capable of offering competition and depth without disrupting the current attacking hierarchy.

Finding that balance will be key. The role is not about replacing Díaz, but about supporting him, ensuring Bayern have enough quality on the flanks to maintain their attacking intensity throughout the season. Until a clear frontrunner emerges, Bayern’s backup solution on the left wing remains an open question.
