The Los Angeles Chargers' offseason, one could say, has been fruitful, but there are still questions that have to be answered.
We know how much punishment Justin Herbert took in 2025, and surely that can't happen again. He has a new center in Tyler Biadasz, but more is needed, and the return of his injured linemen, Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, should help.
But there is a sense that the Chargers need to add more, given the recent injury troubles on the offensive line.
And for Sports Illustrated's Eva Geitheim, L.A.'s free agency path has revealed the franchise is more focused on another area.
"The Chargers’ lack of highly-touted additions at guard have left fans unsatisfied about Justin Herbert’s protection next year, but their signings of center Tyler Biadasz, tight end Charlie Kolar, running back Keaton Mitchell and fullback Alec Ingold has made it clear that the team is prioritizing Mike McDaniel’s vision and rushing attack," Geitheim wrote.

Do Chargers need O-line help?
I would say more depth, as we saw what the unit became when Slater and Alt went down with injury.
Biadasz was a good signing, but maybe the Chargers can either look to the draft or some veteran offensive lineman still available in free agency.
Because if McDaniel's rushing attack is the way forward in 2026, having a stout and dependable offensive line is key.
The Chargers have it when everyone is healthy, but that hasn't been the case lately.
