Omaha wins an offensive zone draw and Pellerin launches a shot from just inside the blue line through traffic and past UND goalie Jan Špunar. The puck may have hit UND's Ellis Rickwood on the way in.
Omaha 1, UND 1 — Mac Swanson 10 (Cole Reschny, Jack Kernan) 14:21. Kernan makes a perfect bank pass in the neutral zone to send Reschny and Swanson in the zone on a two-on-one. Reschny makes the feed and Swanson finishes it. Swanson has now scored in six of UND's last nine games.
UND 2, Omaha 1 — Tyler Young 5 (Ollie Josephson, Abram Wiebe) 4:42. Wiebe makes a nice hold at the zone and passes the puck to Josephson along the wall. Josephson kicks it back to Young, who steps into it and rifles a shot from the left circle past Omaha goalie Simon Latkoczy.
