The Las Vegas Raiders have made a number of trades and have now made an enormous trade. They have sent their star defender to an AFC North contender.

Maxx Crosby, the All-Pro edge rusher, has been sent to the Baltimore Ravens in a huge blockbuster trade. Crosby gets his wish of moving on to a true contender.
ESPN sources: the Raiders agreed to trade five-time Pro-Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks.

The deal sends Crosby to Baltimore, while the Raiders will receive a 2026 first-round pick and a 2027 first-round pick. A huge return for one of the NFL’s best defenders.
Crosby trade rumors began to rumble the minute he was placed on injured reserve last season by the Raiders. It became clear he was not happy about the direction of the team.

The trade now puts the AFC North as the premier division of pass rushers. This group includes TJ Watt, Crosby, and the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett.

In seven seasons with the Raiders, Crosby recorded 69.5 sacks, 133 tackles for loss, and earned four All-Pro honors. The Ravens fell short of the playoffs in 2025 in part due to their inconsistent defensive pass rush.
Now they have a premier pass-rushing weapon.
