The Buffalo Bills have changed a big chunk of their roster just ahead of the start of the NFL's 2026 free agency period on March 11.

The team has announced that four players were released on Friday, including cornerback Taron Johnson, wide receiver Curtis Samuel, safety Taylor Rapp, and cornerback Dane Jackson:

The moved were made in an effort by the Bills to get under the NFL's upcoming 2026 salary cap total of $301.2 million.

In reelasing the four, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane opened up a combined $12.1 million in salary cap space in making the transactions.

However, according to Spotrac, moves more are still to come because the Bills are still approximately $22 million over the salary cap.
