Notre Dame lacrosse sets program records in win over Bellarmine
· Yahoo Sports
It was quite the day for Notre Dame lacrosse, as they dominated Bellarmine, setting program records with the fantastic effort.
The Irish scored 29 goals, besting the record of 28 set over 40-years ago in 1983 against Mount Union. Brock Behrman was the star of the match, scoring 4 times and have three assists for a game-high seven points. He wasn’t the only player to record a hat-trick as well, with Will Maheras and Jalen Seymour joining in on the fun. It was the first time in each of their careers scoring three.

There was another team record in this game as well, with the Irish setting the mark for most points in a game with 48, breaking another long-standing record of 46 set in 1992 against Denver.
Notre Dame wasted no time getting on the board, and adding to its lead, as they had a 10-0 lead after the first quarter. The scoring wasn’t as active the remainder of the game, as the outcome was pretty much in-hand after a 16-1 halftime lead.
Hopefully this is a sign to come for the Irish as they’ve started off their season 2-0, and will be back on the field on Sunday to take on Georgetown.
You want goals? We have plenty to choose from.
